ROCK BLOCK REVIEW

This past Saturday, I attended the 3rd annual WTMD Rock Block in Towson. It was
a TON of fun! Post Pink, a band from Baltimore, took the stage first around 4pm.
They played for about 45 minutes. I really liked their set. They rocked the block!
After them came one of my favorite indie bands, Jealous of the Birds. Jealous of
the Birds are from Belfast, Ireland. This band is amazing live! Even just on a CD
they sound great! But seeing them live takes it to a whole ‘nother level! I got a
setlist from both Post Pink and Jealous of the Birds. I also got their autographs.
Naomi, the lead singer from Jealous of the Birds, was super cool to talk to and very
friendly! Keep in mind, there was one other band that played from 6:45-8pm, but I
left before their set. Ex Hex closed the night after Jealous of the Birds. I did not
stay for their set because I was dead tired and it was getting cold. I also had a busy
day ahead of me the following day, so I wanted to get to bed at a decent time. The
Rock Block was fun while it lasted, though. So have you ever been to a block
party? Have you ever wanted to go to a block party? Let me know in the comments
section and thanks for reading!
