It’s time for another “concert” post! The reason the word “concert” is in quotation marks is because the show was at a local radio station, WTMD and was less than an hour long. WTMD in Towson puts on these free shows about once a month called Live Lunch. If you live in the Baltimore/Towson area, I highly suggest you check this out. The band today was a band from Germany called Haerts (pronounced “Hearts”). I saw them last month at a block party, also sponsored by WTMD in Towson. The first time I saw them, I had no idea who they were. That’s probably why I was so impressed with them when I heard them for the first time. I was a huge fan from the first note Nini sang. Nini Fabi, the singer, is just incredible! To me, she kinda gives off a Stevie Nicks sort of vibe. She has that sort of Stevie Nicks, gypsy-ish sort of vibe. Having said that, the band is indie rock. Their newest album…and yes, it is actually a vinyl album, not a CD…called NEW COMPASSION is up on YouTube and is nothing short of amazing. I highly suggest you check out Haerts, either in person or online. You will not be disappointed! My personal favorite song by Haerts is called Healing. It is a beautiful song. I have attached a link to the song below. I was fortunate to have seen Haerts for free both times I have seen them for free. Would I pay to see them? Yes, but not a huge amount of money. Maybe $20. So that’s it from me. Thanks for reading this mini concert review! Let me know what you think of Haerts, my new favorite indie rock group, apart from Wye Oak…but that’s a review for another day. Thanks!
